Katryn Bowe
I'm an LA-based artist specializing in watercolors. I'm drawn to detailed, organic forms with minimal palettes. I prefer realistic subjects, which I depict by pushing the medium towards monochromatic photography. Tiny brushes, handmade paints, and saturated pigments define my technique.
My artwork is held by private collectors on six continents and available for sale online and at various shows. I also create commissions and pet portraits of any subject and size.
Outside of painting, I’ve focused on international development and impact investing. I have a BA from University of Pennsylvania and an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS. I am self-taught when it comes to art (and learning daily).
